Just as the New Year begins, we at the Warren Food Shelf have lost another great friend. Selvin Aase was Gladys’s husband. He had a great spirit and ready smile. He did much for the food shelf, in the way of helping us unload trucks and doing some carpentry and craftwork. He made the wonderful sign that adorns the front of the building. He will missed very much by us all.

Sadly, we at the food shelf recently suffered the loss of a dear friend and volunteer, Gladys Aase. She was one of our greatest champions. She is deeply missed by us all. Always full of energy and keeping us on our toes. The place isn’t the same without her, but we will carry on, knowing her spirit will always be with those who knew and loved her.
